Search

This option will allow you to search your application design file for occurrences of the specified constants. You can perform a case sensitive or insensitive search, as well as ignore occurrences of the constant(s) in ILF comment lines. Application Explorer will then search your ILF commands, Input, Output, Menu and Inquiry images, and default values in the Data Dictionary. A report can be printed or displayed that shows where the specified constant(s) were found. This can be extremely useful for finding places where a user id has been hard coded, or the century '19'.
